Your revert of my edit on Tabaré Vázquez

[edit]

Hello. I noticed that you reverted my edit on Tabaré Vázquez.

My edit was reverting this edit made by Toilaai2019, a sockpuppet. The sockpuppets of this master usually add a spamlink (in this case red8888.me, a gambling site), and then obfuscate the spam by making many unrelated changes (for example adding translated titles). They use machine translation to translate the titles, which can result in incorrect translations, so I usually remove all of the translated titles they add. However, I see from your userpage that you are es-N, so I assume that you have confirmed the translations you restored to be accurate, but please at least remove the spamlink you reinstated. ClumsyOwlet (talk) 18:43, 27 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@ClumsyOwlet spam removed, totally missed it. Thanks. _-_Alsor (talk) 12:13, 31 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

WIR Talk page reminder

[edit]

After you finished a WIR article as part of a meetup, remember to add it in the articles's talk page banner shell. I've already done it for you in Talk:Mithuna Phuthong, and gave it an assessment also. nhals8 (rats in the house of the dead) 00:22, 31 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@.nhals8 hello, thanks for letting me know; I often forget to do that. I take note. Regards. _-_Alsor (talk) 12:07, 31 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

There is currently a discussion on the talk page about whether the article on Spain should include a mention of the country's culture in the introduction. You’re welcome to share your opinion if you’d like to.

Have a good day. Abatsuki (talk) 16:09, 12 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Abatsuki Indeed! Thanks for letting me know, I’ll be taking part. Best regards. _-_Alsor (talk) 16:14, 12 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Good afternoon,
I recently added a compromise proposal on the Talk page, which consists of keeping some cultural mention of Spain in the introduction while changing the term "cultural superpower" (the term that caused the central dispute) to something alternative.
Please write to me on the Talk page, if you'd like and when you can, to let me know whether you agree or disagree.
Thank you very much, have a nice day. Abatsuki (talk) 16:34, 17 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

You are invited to participate in the Destubathon of the Americas, a contest/editathon which will run from May 1 to May 31. The goal is to destub as many of our 475,000+ stubs for the Americas (from Alaska down to Chile) as possible. A good chance to have fun in expanding many of our old stale stubs and win up to £2000 ($2680) in Amazon vouchers for expanding stub articles. Sign up in the Contestants/participants section on the contest page if interested. Even if not interested in prizes you are still warmly welcome to participate in it as an editathon! Hopefully we can achieve something significant in the month of May together! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 16:39, 15 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Dr. Blofeld thank you for the invitation! Hope I can work on it. _-_Alsor (talk) 22:22, 22 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

About Spain

[edit]

I'm writing just in case you hadn't seen it, but there's a pending proposal on the Talk page of the Spain article that combines the proposal to keep the cultural references with latest Moxy's proposal.

Please take a look and let me know what you think in the Talk thread, so we can decide whether or not to implement it.

Best regards. Abatsuki (talk) 05:38, 24 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
