If I see this racialist and OR nonsense again such as the one you attempted here at Gorehabba (editing against consensus and sources to POVPUSH "Dravidian") and Madrasi ("typical Madrasi look" at an article for a slur), I would ask for sanctions at WP:ANI and with concerned admins. - how is dravidan term a slur? The diety in gorehabba festival is a local diety who is worshipped by local people.there is no refer to shiva in the article and for Diwali, the article is incorrect since diwali isn't a festival celebrated in south Indian. Madrasi is a slur and typical madrasi look or madrasi people how they are referred, isn't a POV. Same goes for many other articles like BIMARU states which are derogatory but still have page. ▄︻テ░Blaada══━一 (talk) 07:26, 17 November 2025 (UTC)
- If you cannot see how your edits are WP:DISRUPTIVE, you should either re-read enwiki policies in detail or otherwise reconsider editing enwiki (WP:NOTHERE). Simply put, we are not going to tolerate racialism at enwiki. Editing slur related articles to then add racially charged images, then going ahead to replace Hinduism with Dravidian is not what you should be doing. Edits such as these in a contentious space like WP:CT/SA will quickly lead to a block, so desist.
- You have now gone ahead and tried to historicize Kosala kingdom of the Ramayana myth, the article is about the mythical kingdom. The historic kingdom has a separate article Kosala. So do not repeat this either.
- If you want to argue that Diwali is not celebrated in South India, do it at Talk:Diwali; though I would forewarn it is an untenable argument and against everything we have for the festivity at enwiki. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
