DYK for Donald Pearlman
[edit]On 18 April 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Donald Pearlman, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the efforts of oil industry lobbyist Donald Pearlman to prevent the adoption of the Kyoto Protocol were dramatized in the 2024 play Kyoto? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Donald Pearlman. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Donald Pearlman), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

The article Bill Morgan lottery win has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
WP:SIGCOV not met for this minor event - WP:NOTNEWS, WP:BLP1E.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I T B F 📢 12:28, 1 May 2025 (UTC)

Which picture
[edit]Thanks for your addition to the James E. Jackson article. Though, it's agruable which image could go there. Personally, I was thinking of putting a newspaper clipping with Jackson and other Communists (see Fugative Communists clipping.jpg), but either can go really. As the person who added the other image, what do you think? Roast (talk) 16:58, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
- I think the image in the newspaper clipping is very similar to the lead image already in the infobox (possibly even the same original source image?), so personally I would say the one with Morris Childs would be better to have in the body of the article, just for a bit more variety. It also shows him at an event related to his Communist Party career, which seems to fit better in the "Career" section of the article DanielMichaelPerry (talk) 17:15, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 22
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Badagry Division, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Lander. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Regarding your changes in the page John P. Saunders
[edit]Thank you so much, DanielMichaelPerry for your valuable contribution towards reforming the Wikipedia Pages. As I too have special interest in observing and correcting information in Wikipedia, it's delightful to know that your initiative is also common to mine. I will continue to give my contributions towards Wikipedia in the future as well. The previous temporary ID 2025-43272-78 was mine only. By the way my original name is Kavya Chatwani, I am a 19 year old boy from Chhattisgarh, India and currently studying BA. General (consisting History, Geography and Political Science) at Kalinga University, near Raipur (Chhattisgarh's capital).
Thank you once again ~2025-43023-63 (talk) 02:29, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
In context of my interest in History
[edit]Hello Daniel, as you might know that India was ruled by Britain for about 200 years from Battle of Plassey in 1757 to Indian Independence Act of 1947, so the whole time period comes under scope of Colonial Indian History (Early Modern History). I have special interest in it, studying Mughal administration, East India Company expansion and later phase of British after 1857 Indian Rebellion. Being an Indian, I view that heritage, no matter it's reminder of oppression of colonialism, still matters as a country's identity. It's our responsibility to protect it
So, Daniel I think you also belong to Britain and have interest in History so if possible could you collaborate with me on certain initiatives in future like making new Wikipedia pages and Edit (reforming) the others??

Regarding changes in the page James Alexander Scott
[edit]Yet another British Indian colonial police officer was was from Scotland and a Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) at Lahore (now in Punjab, Pakistan), was notorious for beating an elder Congress politician at the Simon Commission protests in Lahore on 30 October 1928. He was born in 1895 and died in around 1952 or 1983. His image is not available in any of the known internet sources. So Daniel, if they are available in London archives or any other open sources of library, please find and contribute so the readers may know more about him.
