Disambiguation link notification for July 9
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Al-Sahifa al-sajjadiyya, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Persian. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 18:12, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
minor edits
[edit]Please don't mark your edits as "minor" if you are making any changes to the meaning or substance of the article. The WP:MINOR option is only appropriate for things like fixing typos and syntax, or for reverting obvious vandalism. Only the most uncontroversial edits are "minor", if in doubt don't use it. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 16:54, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, agreed. Please don't do this, Dayshade. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 17:22, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
- My bad lol. Dayshade (talk) 07:23, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
- Changes to wording are not "minor". Unless it's fixing typos or markup, or reverting obvious vandalism, please don't mark your edits as minor. If in doubt don't use it. Please get out of the habit. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 14:27, 25 July 2025 (UTC)
Unsourced
[edit]
Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. --Yamla (talk) 18:54, 28 July 2025 (UTC)

The article King's Gambit, Classical Variation has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Redundant. This duplicates material in King's Gambit and will only cause maintenance problems in future. Besides the term "Classical Variation" isn't even in common use.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 01:56, 29 July 2025 (UTC)
ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:35, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
