Hello, wow, thanks, I completely forgot about this, thanks for the reminder, I can't believe I spent so much time by this in 2011 ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Backus%E2%80%93Naur_form/Archive_1 )

I did it because I was frustrated by the level of "Chomsky-related topics" we had in compiler-related courses when I studied computer science. When I started teaching Algorithms at TBU in Zlin, I needed 1 slide about grammars and compilers history. That's when I did this - I now teach that programming languages grammars, based on BNF, were developed without any Chomsky influence. Dulik (talk) 06:11, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
