ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

First I must congratulate myself on my strategy of moving US archdioceses to prompt others to move the rest haha! But I also wish to congratulate you. How did you manage to move so many pages? No, I did not know about that tool. Thanks a lot! Would you also know what the best way to replace links such as [[Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York|Archdiocese of New York]] with [[Archdiocese of New York]] would be? (They never should have been piped anyway.) Perhaps another such tool?
Also, do you and @Funplussmart think it would be smart to move pages about dioceses with ambiguous names to titles like Diocese of Albany (Catholic) and Diocese of Albany (Episcopal) instead of Catholic Diocese of Albany and Episcopal Diocese of Albany? I think it should be clear that the denomination is there just for disambiguation and is not part of the official name. It would also be more in line with the new titles. @Surtsicna: WP:JWB is the tool I'd recommend for those link edits; I've used it for similar types of mass changes. But first you'd have to get approved at WP:PERM/AWB since I don't see you on the approved list. I think your rationale and need expressed here would be very persuasive for admins to grant you access, and you being very experienced is also a plus. Btw, it might be helpful for y'all to know I've been working on the Africa ones listed at List of Catholic dioceses in Africa; I suppose it could be easier if we communicate and coordinate our efforts so we don't waste time checking the same sets of pages. As to the last question, I have no opinion, but it might be worth raising at the Catholic project talk page for consensus if it hasn't been addressed before. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment.
