- Apologies, that was in error. I couldn't find the page to revert that back again. GeekBurst (talk) 00:44, 5 July 2025 (UTC)

Declined CSD
[edit]Hi GeekBurst! I wanted to let you know that I declined your CSD tags at Freetricity. The article is not beyond hope of repair for G11 (I see a distinct lack of promotional language), and having access to between $50 million and $700 million
is a credible claim of significance. Best, HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 18:44, 26 July 2025 (UTC)
- In regards to G11, 2 of the links are from a promotional newspaper articles, and another is a company owned website advertising solar.
- Specifically, half the Wiltshire Business Online article is a quote from the company owner, and the copyright for FreeHeating.net is Freetricity, and The Guardian articles comes across as promoting the launch of the company.
- Argument could be made that the article lacks independent sources as opposed to being promotional, but I see little information that isn't boasting about the business. Many solar companies don't get their own article, but it appears Freetricity ended up with one due to the notability of the founder.
- Unless there is a plan to improve this article, I'll tag it for a deletion discussion. GeekBurst (talk) 20:19, 26 July 2025 (UTC)
- I do not personally plan to improve the article, but it was certainly not a G11 case. Note that problems which can be fixed by editing will not go over well at AFD; the content is far from the place where WP:TNT applies. HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 20:36, 26 July 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for your contribution, but I have failed to yield any results for this company that aren't advertising, as another editor pointed out the Parliament link is just a reported submitted by the company, so it's not independent coverage.
- If the consensus is to Keep, then perhaps someone who supported the article will be able to improve it sufficiently to prevent a future discussion. GeekBurst (talk) 20:39, 26 July 2025 (UTC)
