ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Censorship of pro-Palestinian expression in the cultural sector of Germany

I wonder what you think about creating a version of this page on the German Wikipedia. I'm not German so I don't think it's my place but if you know how to translate - I think Wikipedia has some tools - and might be interested in being involved that would be wonderful! As far as I know, they have their own WP:PIA so I'm probably not allowed to create such an article. Furthermore, I've seen that a person translated the Gaza genocide article into German as-is and the German Wikipedia community really didn't like it and deleted it and also salted de:Genozid in Gaza.

I might translate it in the future but I'm currently not in a position where I want to take all the heat for such a (by the German Wikipedia's standards) divisive topic. Laura240406 (talk) 16:53, 24 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
