ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

- @Slgrandson: Hello. What you removed is an accidental paste, as you noted, of a truncated passage that was paraphrased directly below it (the part you appear to have left)... a violation, you say. My internet or computer had froze up at that point, and I eventually gave up for the day, leaving it in preview. Today, I open it to see the same truncated ABA content still accidentally pasted above what now remains, still as an unsaved preview only. How it was saved like that is beyond me, since it remains in the same window in preview today on my end. I've never even seen that direct quote saved in the article, then or now, having both left it and returned to it in a preview only state, coupled by your erasure of what, apparently, was.
