A belated welcome!
[edit]

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Sertymop! I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. While Twitter is generally unreliable, the statement came from NWS Jackson (a verified government account) and is reliable. See WP:TWITTER. EF5 21:50, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
- Yep, that's a good point. Sertymop (talk) 21:51, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

Hello, Sertymop. Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. FireflyBot (talk) 01:06, 21 August 2025 (UTC)
PRODs
[edit]Hi, I see you reverted the removal of my prod on Pedro Laginha. Generally the principle is that prods can be removed by anyone including the page author and the correct thing to do if you still think an article should be deleted is to proceed to an AfD. January 2026
[edit]
Hi Mesocyclonic93! I noticed that you've made several edits in order to restore your preferred version of Kamen (volcano). The impulse to repeatedly undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure that you're aware of Wikipedia's edit warring policy. Repeatedly undoing the changes made by other users in a back-and-forth fashion like this is disallowed, even if you feel what you're doing is justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages in order to try to reach a consensus with the other editors involved. If you are unable to come to an agreement at Talk:Kamen (volcano), please use one of the dispute resolution options that are available in order to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of repeatedly reverting other editors' changes can help you avoid getting drawn into edit wars. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 07:14, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
MV Cornelius Charlton
[edit]The title and spelling of the first name is wrong; common sense should dictate without a "source" that "Conelius" is wrong, especially since the person the ship is named for has a wiki page, is linked on the page and is spelled correctly there. So quit being an and the page. ~2026-25178-3 (talk) 14:53, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
- Due to WP:V information must be taken from reliable sources and not from opinion or beliefs. If you have a more authoritative source than the one already on the article stating that the name is Cornelius, feel free to provide it. Mesocyclonic93 (talk) 15:28, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

Temporary account IP viewer granted
[edit]
Hello, Mesocyclonic93. Per your request, your account has been granted temporary-account-viewer rights. You are now able to reveal the IP addresses of individuals using temporary accounts that are not visible to the general public. This is very sensitive information that is only to be used to aid in anti-abuse workflows. Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Temporary account IP viewer for more information on this user right. It is important to remember:
- You must not share IP address data with someone who does not have the same access permissions unless disclosure is permissible as per guidelines listed at Foundation:Policy:Wikimedia Access to Temporary Account IP Addresses Policy.
- Access must not be used for political control, to apply pressure on editors, or as a threat against another editor in a content dispute. There must be a valid reason to investigate a temporary user. Note that using multiple temporary accounts is not forbidden, so long as they are not used in violation of policies (for example, block or ban evasion).
It is also important to note that the following actions are logged for others to see:
- When a user accepts the preference that enables or disables IP reveal for their account.
- Revealing an IP address of a temporary account.
- Listing the temporary accounts that are associated with one or more IP addresses (using the CIDR notation format).
Remember, even if a user is violating policy, avoid revealing personal information if possible. Use temporary account usernames rather than disclosing IP addresses directly, or give information such as same network/not same network or similar. If you do not want the user right anymore then please ask me or another administrator and it will be removed for you. You may also voluntarily give up access at any time by visiting Special:Preferences. Happy editing! — rsjaffe 🗣️ 23:30, 29 January 2026 (UTC)

Rollback granted
[edit]
Hi Mesocyclonic93. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits. For more information about when rollback is appropriate, see Wikipedia:Rollback § When to use rollback.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the permission will be revoked.
- Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!
I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, and feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate use of rollback. If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin) and Wikipedia:Rollback. Good luck and thanks! * Pppery * it has begun... 19:46, 12 February 2026 (UTC)
Hyperloop UPV
[edit]My name is Isa, and this year I'm the project manager for the Partners subsystem at Hyperloop UPV.
The team has noticed that the team's Wikipedia page is quite outdated, and we wanted to try to update it, but you deleted all the information due to vandalism.
We simply want to correct the information and create a proper page, as there's currently a lot of incorrect data.
I would be very grateful if you could allow me to update the page. Best regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2026-14158-16 (talk) 13:43, 6 March 2026 (UTC)
"No consensus" is not a proper reason
[edit]I would like to know exactly what changes I made amounted to "no consensus." There was never a discussion that covered any of these pages. If you would like to go through the changes I made and explain your opposition, I would be content. This defies the entire point of WP:BOLD. Wasting time is still my passion (talk) 15:57, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
- In any case, it was @RGloucester that reverted my changes in the first place without providing a reason for them. I have already left a message on their talk page. In any case, their reversion (and your reversion) is WP:MASSR. Wasting time is still my passion (talk) 15:58, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hello Wasting time is still my passion, please don't refer to essay sections as if they were policies or guidelines. WP:BOLD is, but WP:EW is too. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:52, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
- Mesocyclonic93, if you had rollbacked because the user was blocked, please note that it wasn't a case of block evasion (so rollback wasn't appropriate), and that your rollbacking effectively participated in an edit war while misusing the rollback tool. Unless you can point to a specific block that has been evaded with an edit, you may not rollback it as block evasion. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:56, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
