Regarding post 13th Century South Indian origin integrated castes
[edit]I would like to ask from you why you are hindering the statement of historically verified post-13th Century South Indian origin coastal castes (Durava, Karava and Salagama) being a major source of influx of South Indian genetic admixture into the Sinhala population ? - You need a scientific source saying the above in terms of genetics, there are no sources, hence it is WP:OR. Metta79 (talk) 16:54, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
- I am not making a claim coming purely from a genetic studies perspective, but from a historical perspective that SUPPORTS the genetic findings mentioned in the first paragraph , I am posting historic information from historic records and valid ACADEMIC sources. It only mentions a PROBABLE historically supported route through which South Indian genetic admixture MAY have entered in to the Sinhalese population. Mentioning that from a historical perspective supporting a genetic truth already mentioned is not a matter for ALARM ! Cybercitizen8 (talk) 18:40, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
