Greetings User Palimped. Thank you for adding a wiki link to magrodome at the QE2 article. It was such an odd term it threw me off doing the normal things (like a WP search for the term, or trying to wikify it and seeing if it worked, then reading up at the new active link). Unregistered users can't just hit the handy "Thank" button. 2601:196:180:DC0:2197:EDCF:F73C:A417 (talk) 21:27, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

June 2024

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Connell Rawlinson article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 17:04, 30 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Revert?

[edit]

Hello there—you need to use an edit summary instead of rollback for any edits like this, where the underlying edit very much does not meet the criteria set out at WP:ROLLBACKUSE. Ed [talk] [OMT] 06:38, 26 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Did realise I had tapped the wrong button, and was unable to add edit summary, we all make mistakes. Reason for edit is the article edit page says use British english. Regards palmipedTalk 09:46, 26 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You look to have done the same thing here, incorrectly using rollback to revert a valid edit??? GiantSnowman 19:27, 2 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry don’t know what happened, didn’t know I had mistakenly hit the rollback button, I had no reason to revert the good edit. palmipedTalk 22:51, 2 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You have done it again here - you clearly cannot be trusted with rollback, and so I will be taking this to ANI to have your rights removed. GiantSnowman 15:36, 7 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
sorry again finger trouble on watchlist page, yes please remove me from rollback. palmipedTalk 15:40, 7 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I now have confirm rollback working after adding the confirm rollback script. (in preferences gadgets the confirm rollback was enabled but for some reason was not working, thus I added the script) palmipedTalk 12:19, 8 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:23, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
