You are right that I should have explained that the edit was only correcting an error (a name mentioned twice, in error surely), which confused readers. You're welcome, IP. It is possible I am mistaken, but here is the edit that seems to have been made in response to your edit request: [1]. The lead now seems to make clear that, in your words, "The IDF never claimed to have killed Shamkhani. Only some Iranian news networks. Actually, I was referring to the assassination attempt section which still says the IDF claimed to have assassinated Shamkhani even though they never claimed to have done so.
