Hi Peter, thanks for your note at the New user log. Your interests are impressive! BTW, Wikipedia runs on MediaWiki; the developers would certainly be pleased if they were to read your praise of the software's usability. Anyway, welcome; I hope you enjoy contributing here, as I have. Chris Roy 22:28, 18 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Anzac Day image
[edit]I was VERY pleased that this image 'lasted' for 4 years on such an important page (from the 90th Anzac Day, on 25 April 2005 until that day in 2009.)

Redirect of Count Harmel to Pierre Harmel
[edit]
Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. A page you created or have recently made significant changes to, Count Harmel, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for pages, so it has been blanked and redirected to Pierre Harmel#Later career. Three typical reasons for this are that: (1) the article's subject appears to fail our notability guidelines; (2) the article is unsourced; or (3) the sources used in the article are unreliable. The page's history is preserved and it is possible to restore the article: If you believe that this page should remain included on Wikipedia or that this action was taken in error, then you may revert the edit that blanked and redirected the page.
Wikipedia:Your first article has more information about creating articles, and you may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Rolluik (talk) 14:24, 7 November 2025 (UTC)
ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:18, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
