Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Taranto F.C. 1927 logo.svg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Taranto F.C. 1927 logo.svg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Avon House, Bristol. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. Please help by adding more sources to the article you edited, and/or by clarifying how the sources already given support the claims (see here for how to do inline referencing). If you need further help, you can look at Help:Menu/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse, or just ask me. Thank you. Dormskirk (talk) 14:52, 21 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi and thank you for the message. I reverted your revert so I could add a citation, but unfortunately you reverted it again so quickly it caused a conflict. I've added a citation from the developer themselves which matches the details regarding the demolition (although I haven't found anything specific to corroborate the May 2024 closure date of the hotel) - I've replaced the flickr citation with this one now. M Shed listing

[edit]

For what it's worth, it looks like the inclusion of M Shed in the grade II listed buildings category originated in the now split up Bristol Harbour Railway and Industrial Museum article, as a reference to the listing of the quays and bollards of Prince's Wharf and Wapping Wharf (in this edit). It got left in and copied on over to Bristol Industrial Museum and M Shed. As it stands, Bristol Industrial Museum is still in that category. rbrwr± 11:22, 28 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for pointing that out. I've noticed the edit about the listing has since been removed and isn't present in either article—I'll remove it from the Bristol Industrial Museum article since the categorization seems misleading when it isn't referenced in the article or pertinent to the building itself. Hi Plasmium. Thank you for your work on 1987 Redfield and Patchway spree killings. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thanks for creating another well-written article, by trawling newspapers from the time. There was significant national coverage at the time, with broader impact on shotgun availability in the UK. Stylistically, there are a few too many sections for me - I think that it disrupts the prose unduly. However, this is a minor point. I've also worked on improving the Wikidata entry to which this is linked, an additional step that can help other projects.

Hi @Klbrain:, thanks for taking the time to review the articles I wrote and to comment on them. I agree with you on your comments about this article specifically—I probably followed the format of related articles too closely for this one, which likely will never have enough references to surpass start/C class and thus doesn't warrant the amount of subheadings. I've been taking a bit of a break from writing and editing on Wikipedia, but I'll go over this article with your feedback in mind eventually.

St Jude’s, Bristol

[edit]

Hi @Plasmium, great work on developing this page.

I’ve been pulling together a lot of sources on St Jude’s and your history framework will be most useful. I can add things in; the blank page was a bit intimidating before!

I’m p new to this so any tips on how to interact with the page in a way that’s appropriate now it’s expanded would be welcome. I can see you’ve written a bunch of excellent pages about the local area. Updw1234 (talk) 10:25, 17 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Updw1234,
Thank you for your comments. There are no real rules or anything like that, so please feel free to make any changes you see fit!
You may wish to rewrite or remove any text I've added if your sources contradict it or offer more detail. Additionally, since I focus on writing about history, the article might lack sections relevant to the area today--If you have sources regarding recent developments or characteristics of the area, you might want to create new sections for those. Otherwise, for historical additions, simply maintaining the chronological order is all that is needed.
I hope that helps but if there is anything else you want to know, you can always leave another comment on my talk page. I look forward to seeing your additions to the article!

Best regards, Plasmium (talk) 15:04, 17 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

A Very Merry Christmas to you!

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited St Thomas the Martyr, Bristol, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bedminster. Autopatrolled granted

[edit]

Hi Plasmium, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.

Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.

Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Dr vulpes (Talk) 06:45, 3 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
