Welcome!
[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, Somajyoti! Thank you for your contributions. This is an encyclopedia, so remember that it's a necessity to include references listing reliable websites, newspapers, articles, books and other sources you have used to write or expand articles. Please understand that these sources should verify the information in a fair and accurate manner. However, you must not copy and paste text you find anywhere, except for short quotations, marked as such with quote marks and carefully cited to the source the quote was taken from. New articles and statements added to existing articles may be deleted by others if unreferenced or referenced poorly or if they are copyright violations. See referencing for beginners for more details.
I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{help me}} at the bottom of this page.

Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Document camera, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Adakiko (talk) 04:19, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
- You reverted the article to its previous version, where there are many paragraphs without sources. I did not add anything new. Rather, I removed some extra text that actually does not need to be in this article. Somajyoti (talk) 04:31, 18 March 2025 (UTC)

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, Xenocycloheptatrisulfurane, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it has been moved to Draft:Xenocycloheptatrisulfurane where you can continue to work on it. Gheus (talk) 22:45, 22 March 2025 (UTC)Expecting reliable sources written about Wikipedia articles doesn't make sense
[edit]You recently closed an edit request about a discrepancy in an article. The body is sourced, but the lead didn't match. You closed it asking for a reliable source. Who do you think writes books about Wikipedia articles? Or do you mean you want to put sources in the lead, instead of using the sources in the body? You should stay away from edit requests until you are more familiar with policy. 107.116.165.135 (talk) 01:42, 30 March 2025 (UTC)
- I see another edit request you denied because you didn't understand what the user was asking for. They provided sources, but it was you who didn't understand. You should probably undo that. 107.116.165.135 (talk) 01:44, 30 March 2025 (UTC)

- A quote from above, "Wikipedia is improved through the work of both regular editors and newcomers. All of us were new editors once, and in some areas, even the most experienced are still newcomers. Treat newcomers with kindness and patience—nothing scares valuable contributors away faster than hostility.

Hello, I'm GrabUp. I noticed that you recently removed content from Republic Bangla without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. GrabUp - Talk 08:50, 8 April 2025 (UTC)
- I have removed some information from Republic Bangla because they were not properly sourced. Instead, I have written a summary of the previous disorganized texts with sources from a reliable newspaper link. I have mentioned this in the edit summary. Thanks! Somajyoti ✉ 09:02, 8 April 2025 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In the future, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it.

It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Sarsenet•he/they•(talk) 01:13, 14 April 2025 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Draft:Student abuse at Islamic University, Kushtia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Please do not be putting this in article space. It is clearly not ready for it. Drmies (talk) 03:40, 18 April 2025 (UTC)

Edit request parameter
[edit]Hello, I'm twisted!
I wanted to let you know that you recently responded at Talk:Javanshir (clan) but forgot to set the edit request to answered. I've already set it as answered but, please remember to change the |answered=no or |ans=no parameter to "yes" when the request has been accepted, rejected or on hold awaiting user input. This is so that inactive or completed requests don't needlessly fill up the edit requests category.
I see you use editProtectedHelper, when making a response, there is a blue "Respond" button. When you click on it, and choose you response template along with any additional messages, there should be a "Answered" tick-box.

Orphaned non-free image File:Rokomari.com website screenshot.jpeg
[edit]
Thanks for uploading File:Rokomari.com website screenshot.jpeg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of non-free use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:31, 23 April 2025 (UTC)

AfDs
[edit]Hey, thanks for participating in AfDs. Articles for Deletion is a very weird place where you run into all kinds of articles and editors, who are trying their brst to either delete the article or to keep it. There are various policies and guidelines we follow there to establish the notability of the article and then to keep it or delete it.
Though not an admin, I'm active in the region, relisting and trying to determine the consensus of the discussion. I have seen you around and would love to offer a piece of friendly advice.
Please go through Wikipedia:Arguments to avoid in deletion discussions and Wikipedia:Arguments to make in deletion discussions to get the gist of !voting there. Also, we have multiple venues to delete an article, such as speedy deletion, proposed deletion, and the king, AfD. There are others too, but these are the major ones for articles in general. So pick the battle you want to indulge in and discuss accordingly.
You are doing a good job and I hope you'll learn more and learn better. Thanks and happy editing. — Benison (Beni · talk) 11:00, 28 April 2025 (UTC)

Proposed deletion
[edit]
The article 2018 Bengali teacher recruitment movement has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Date format
[edit]Please update your date format when adding references to your pages, and also fix it when you have time, i tried to fix the date format on United States sanctions on Bangladesh but it took way too much time and only a fraction was fixed, instead of writing "2025-04-18", use the Day/Month/Year or Month/Day/Year format like "18 April 2025" or "April 18, 2025". Recent AfD nominations
[edit]Hello. You have recently been nominating a high number of articles for deletion. In your nominations, you generally don't comment on the sourcing situation, and just state that sourcing is insufficient and/or that OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. I urge you to do a BEFORE before nominating an article, and actually lay out why you believe the sourcing situation doesn't warrant an article. Cortador (talk) 11:51, 2 May 2025 (UTC)

Issue Solving
[edit]Hi, I noticed things got a bit tense after the AfD discussions on 2nd May. I might’ve misstepped without realizing, and I’d like to understand what exactly went wrong from your perspective. I’m not looking to argue — just trying to learn and avoid repeating any mistakes. Appreciate any feedback you can offer. I get angry a lot and some of it may affect what I do on Wikipedia, i am trying to solve my anger-related issues and I apologize for any major error, Thanks. Mariano Abella moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Mariano Abella. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and in particular, only the first source appears to support claims made in the article, which needs at least two and preferably three reliable independent sources with significant coverage of the subject. There's useful information about how to choose good sources and avoid bad sources here. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. SunloungerFrog (talk) 10:28, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
- @SunloungerFrog Did you perhaps mean to send this to someone else? Somajyoti ✉ 15:10, 28 May 2025 (UTC)
- Ah - I sent it to you because the script I use noted that you had made a bunch of edits to the article. I see that they were all categories that you'd added to the article rather than any content per se. So you can safely ignore the message - sorry for the unnecessary notification. It has gone to the creating editor too. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 21:24, 28 May 2025 (UTC)
