It ought to be a requirement that wiki articles that contain measurements provide the SI equivalents of whatever the author prefers in terms of systems of measurement.

Imperial or American measurements are hardly used outside the US of A, and it is irritating to have to convert (the author of these lines was taught the equivalents in school - but young people are no longer provided this knowledge, as it is considered completely useless).
