Your submission at Articles for creation: D2s1 (November 11)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Aesurias were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The content of this submission includes material that does not meet Wikipedia's minimum standard for inline citations. Please cite your sources using footnotes. For instructions on how to do this, please see Referencing for beginners. Thank you.
The comment the reviewer left was:
+ Incorrect formatting
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Talk:Main Page

[edit]

Please stop posting inane comments at Talk:Main Page as they are becoming increasingly disruptive. If you have questions about how Wikipedia works or how you can do something, please ask at the WP:Teahouse. - SchroCat (talk) 07:11, 21 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Echo the above. You say you don’t need Behaviour guidelines but considering how people have responded negatively to your comments, I suggest you give each them a read. mwwv converseedits 17:53, 21 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi VZ9999 maybe you don't need this, but I'm trying to help you here. You're a very new editor here, and you don't know all the customs and things that we have on Wikipedia. That's fine, everyone was new once. But as someone experienced here, I'm just letting you know that you're causing some annoyance with your comments at the Talk:Main Page thread. Typically in a discussion like that, people give their views as a single bulleted comment, either "support" if you like the proposal or "oppose" otherwise. Sometimes editors also reply to other editoes' comments, if there's something about the vote they'd like to challenge, or if they feel there's a different angle to be taken. That's what's happening in the debate there. Some people like me think the proposal is a good one, and we've given our reasons. Other people prefer the current arrangement of saying From and they've also said why. It sounds from what you say as if you support the "oppose" viewpoint, so if you like you can put that down as a bulleted vote and give your reasons. What you can't do, though, is put lots of comments all over the discussion about how you think it's a waste of time and how it's obvious we should say "from the featured article". Yours is only one view, and it isn't necessarily the one that enjoys most support, that's what the discussion is for. Posting repeated comments that don't add anything new to the discussion is often taken as a disruptive thing, as explained at WP:BLUDGEON. Put simply, people including the two posters above are losing their patience with you and you might end up blocked from either the discussion page or even the wider website if you continue down that route. So my advice is this : leave a bulleted vote with a reason for opposing if you want to, and then leave it at that. Go and do some other things in the project. Cheers, and happy editing.  — Amakuru (talk) 20:43, 21 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
