Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Gay Women's Alliance (June 15)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by S0091 was:
This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:

The comment the reviewer left was:
A good start but Outhistory is user-generated and does not take responsibility for the content so does not meet WP:RS and LGBTQ Activism in Seattle History Project is a brief mention. I cannot find a book titled A Woman's Place by Gary L. Atkins but did find Gay Seattle : stories of exile and belonging which does have in-depth coverage about GWA so is a good source. Is that the intended source? If not, additional bibliographic information is needed and also need at least one more qualifying source with in-depth coverage which likely exists. I also removed the large quote because it was WP:UNDUE. If you need help finding sources, let me know.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Theatre Outre (September 18)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Timtrent were:
You are banking on the controversy section, which is not really a controversy, and does not deliver notability.

You also have, effectively, playbills as references

The theatre company is not notable for putting queer plays on, or plays slanted towards queerness. It has to be notable in its won right

I have been trying hard to find reasons to accept this. You haven't given me any hook to hang my hat on here. I suggest you edit this down, and find the one fundamental thing that makes it notable and whose reference(s) pass WP:42
