Verceia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sondrio in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northeast of Milan and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) west of Sondrio. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,101 and an area of 11.2 square kilometres (4.3 mi2).[3]
Verceia borders the following municipalities: Dubino, Novate Mezzola, Sorico.
