Importance reassessment for Forgotten Weapons

Standardised name for gun control/gun law/firearms regulation articles

There seems to be a lack of consistency when it comes to naming of gun control/gun law/firearms regulation articles for various countries. For example, we have:

• Gun law in the United States
• Firearms regulation in the United Kingdom
• Gun laws of Australia
• Gun control in Italy

I don't think there are any partcularly strong reasons for any of the names, and they seem to be randomly chosen. I think it would be good to standardise on a common name, which in my opinion should be "Gun control in X". Elshad (talk) 22:05, 17 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
