Alice in Chains (album) FAC

[edit]

I am once again asking for assistance on the featured article candidacy on this album. I am doing everything I can to get this promoted, but I am running out of time to get reviewers. So far, I only have a media review and one reviewer who opposed, but whose concerns I have responded to (they have not been around to respond at the time of writing this). I would appreciate any and all feedback you can give. It can be found at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Alice in Chains (album)/archive2. mftp dan oops 04:43, 11 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

I've been working on this article for a long while, and I hope to have a third party take a look at it and give it a proper article assessment. Advice on reliable Metal sources

[edit]

Hi there community, I'm trying very hard to publish an article on the Indian metal band 'Eternal Returns', but I find the list of reliable sources so limiting. Is there an updated list of reliable metal sources for bands from Asia/outside the Anglophone world? Viljowf (talk) 10:24, 3 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Saldy this site has a massive blindspot when it comes to non-English sources, and it goes for pretty much all the projects, not just metal.★Trekker (talk) 15:59, 3 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Help with an article

[edit]

Hello guys, I would kindly ask you for help with an article, because I am not familiar with english Wikipedia an I am not a native speaker. I normally contribute to German Wikivoyage and German Wikipedia taking care of my own favourite bands, which are mostly less known melodic death metal bands. Articles are not big, but relevant, i think. I translated my German article about Marianas Rest and keep it in my namespace here: User:DerFussi/Marianas Rest. Could somebody check the article (the used templates, the structure and most important, the translation). I am happy to get some advices and if its checked, and relevant I would like to release it to the main namespace. A photo is uploaded but I wait for the VRT-Ticket. Many thanks in advance.... -- DerFussi 08:01, 19 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Non-English sources to examine

[edit]

In recent AFDs for metal bands and albums I have often been able to find coverage and reviews, but no one knows if the sources can be considered reliable or not. Several of these are in other languages than English, which makes it even more difficult to make judgement. I think maybe it would be good to examine some of non-English websites to see what this project thinks.

This is a crosspost from this discussion. Please feel free to join in over there or comment here. Thank you. ★Trekker (talk) 13:45, 16 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
