Agatha Christie (15 September 1890 – 12 Januarie 1976) was ’n Britse skryfster, bekend vir talle gewilde romans oor moorde en die speurders wat dit oplos.

Sy was een van die wêreld se bekendste speurverhaalskryfsters. 'n Beraamde vier miljard kopieë van haar novelle is verkoop, insluitend 'n beraamde miljard kopieë van vertalings uit die oorspronklike Engels in 103 ander tale.[1] Sy is net deur die Bybel en Shakespeare uitverkoop.

Haar bekendste karakters is Miss Marple en Hercule Poirot. Twee van haar bekendste boeke, wat albei verfilm is, is Murder on the Orient Express en Death on the Nile.[2]
