Мясаедныя (ад лац.: carnivorus, утворанае спалучэннем слоў carō — мяса або «плоць» і vorarus — «-ядны», «-пажыральнік»), або заафагі — гэта жывёлы або расліны, патрэбы ў ежы і энергіі якіх залежаць з тканак жывёл (галоўным чынам цягліц, тлушчу і іншых мяккіх тканак^[en]) у выніку палявання або збору мярцвячыны^[1][2]
