গুজরাতি জাতি[ক] (গুজরাতি: ગુજરાતી લોકો, উচ্চারণ [ɡudʒ(ə)ˈɾɑt̪i ˈloko]) হল একটি হিন্দ-আর্য নৃগোষ্ঠী যারা ভারতীয় উপমহাদেশের এমন একটি অঞ্চলে বসবাস করে বা তাদের পূর্বপুরুষ বা ঐতিহ্যের সন্ধান পাওয়া যেতে পারে যা মূলত বর্তমান পশ্চিম ভারতীয় রাজ্য গুজরাতে কেন্দ্রীভূত হয়। তারা প্রাথমিকভাবে একটি ইন্দো-আর্য ভাষা গুজরাতি ভাষায় কথা বলে। গুজরাতিরা প্রধানত গুজরাতে বসবাস করলেও বিশ্বব্যাপী তাদের প্রবাসীরা রয়েছে। ভারতে ও প্রবাসে গুজরাতিরা বিশিষ্ট উদ্‌যোক্তা ও শিল্পপতি এবং উচ্চ সামাজিক পুঁজি বজায় রাখে।[১৫] মহাত্মা গান্ধী, মুহম্মদ আলী জিন্নাহ ও বল্লভভাই পটেল-সহ ভারতীয় স্বাধীনতা আন্দোলনের বহু উল্লেখযোগ্য নেতাকর্মী ছিলেন গুজরাতি।[১৬][১৭][১৮][১৯]
