Mrtav link (engl. dead link) je link koji vodi na stranicu koja više ne postoji. Ovo može da znači da je link zastario ili da je stranica nedostupna ili čak čitav web sajt.

Kada se otvori ovakva stranica onda se često pojavljuje HTTP greška 404. Ovu grešku šalje web server kada ne može da nađe zatraženu stranicu. Automatske metode, uključujući plug-inove za WordPress, Drupal i druge sisteme za uređivanje saobraćaja, mogu biti korištene za otkrivanje prekinutih URL-ova.
