Sperata seenghala és una espècie de peix de la família dels bàgrids i de l'ordre dels siluriformes present a l'Afganistan,[1] el Pakistan, l'Índia,[2][3][4][5][6][7][8] el Nepal[9] i Bangladesh.[10][11][12][13][14][15][16] Els mascles poden assolir 150 cm de longitud total.[12][17] És un peix demersal i de clima tropical.[12] És ovípar[18] i l'aparellament té lloc abans de l'inici de l'estació del monsó.[12][19]
