Penelope Spheeris (Nueva Orleans, Luisiana; 2 de diciembre de 1946) es una directora de cine, productora y guionista estadounidense. Es popular por haber dirigido la trilogía de documentales llamada The Decline of Western Civilization[1] y por la película Wayne's World, su producción más exitosa en cuanto a cifras.[2]
