Pulitzer Saria Historian

Pulitzer Sariaren urrezko dominaren aurrealdea eta atzealdea.

Pulitzer Saria Historian urtero Letren, Antzerkiaren eta Musikarengatik banatzen diren zazpi Amerikako Pulitzer Sarietako bat da, Columbia Unibertsitateak kudeatuta. Egile estatubatuar batek aurreko urteko egutegian argitaratutako Estatu Batuetako historiari buruzko liburu bereizgarri bat aitortzen du. Pulitzer saria izanik, jatorrizko Pulitzerretako programa 1917an eratu zenean zazpi sarietako bat izan zen, horietatik lau urte horretan bertan banatu zirela.[1] Pulitzer sariaren programak zenbait lan historiko ere aitortu ditu bere Biografia sariarekin 1917tik aurrera, eta Ez-Fikziozko Sari Nagusiarekin 1962tik hona.

1980tik urrera bi finalistak ere iragarriak izan dira, irabazlearekin batera.[2]

2013ra arteko lehen 97 urteetan, Pulitzer Saria Historian 95 aldiz eman zuten. 1989an bi sari eman ziren, eta bat ere ez 1919an, 1984an eta 1994an.[2]
