Takakia Ipar Amerikako mendebaldetik Asia ekialde eta erdialdera zabaltzen den goroldio generoa da, bi espezie ezberdinez (T. ceratophylla eta T. lepidozioides) osaturikoa.
Generoa familia, ordena eta klase propio batean sailkatzen da. Bere sailkatze taxonomikoa zaila izan da baina esporofitoaren aurkikuntza goroldioen barruan kokatzen du ezpairik gabe.
