شبه گیرندهٔ کلسیتونین (انگلیسی: CALCRL) که با نام گیرندهٔ شبه گیرندهٔ کلسیتونین (CRLR) هم شناخته میشود، یک پروتئین است که در انسان توسط ژن «CALCRL» کُدگذاری میشود.[۴]
در زخمها، گیرندههای پپتید وابسته به ژن کلسیتونین موجود در یاختههای عصبی، دستگاه ایمنی را غیرفعال میکنند تا از آسیبهای جانبی ممانعت کنند. حال اگر عامل ایجادکنندهٔ زخم، پاتوژنهای خطرناکی چون عامل ایجادکنندهٔ بیماری گوشتخوار باشد، این مسئله به ضرر بدن تمام میشود. در پژوهشها نشان دادهاند اگر یک عامل مهارکنندهٔ نورونی همچون سم بوتولینوم را بکار بگیرند، این عملکرد پپتید وابسته به ژن کلسیتونین را مهار میکند و در نتیجه سیستم ایمنی بدن بهخوبی عامل بیماریزا را کنترل کرده و بهبودی کامل ایجاد میشود.[۶]
