پروتئین ۲ ترمیمکنندهٔ دیانای همساخت RAD51 (انگلیسی: DNA repair protein RAD51 homolog 2) یک پروتئین است که در انسان توسط ژن «RAD51L1» کُدگذاری میشود.[۴][۵][۶]
پروتئین کُدگذاری شده توسط این ژن عضوی از خانواده پروتئینی RAD51 است. اعضای خانواده RAD51 پروتئینهای حفاظتشده تکاملی هستند که برای ترمیم دیانای با نوترکیبی همساخت ضروری هستند. نشان داده شده است که این پروتئین یک هترودایمر پایدار با مولکول RAD51C تشکیل میدهد[۷][۸][۹] که بیشتر با سایر اعضای خانواده مانند RAD51، XRCC2 و XRCC3 تعامل دارد. بیان بیش از حد این ژن باعث تأخیر چرخه سلولی G1 و آپوپتوز سلولی میشود که نقش این پروتئین را در تشخیص آسیب دیانای نشان میدهد. حداقل سه گونه ایزوفرمهای مجزا از طریق پیرایش دگرسان حاصل میشود.[۶]
