جیمز م. ویلیامز (۱۴ آوریل ۱۹۴۸ - ۱۲ ژوئن ۲۰۱۱) یک طراح مدار آنالوگ و نویسنده فنی بود که برای مؤسسه فناوری ماساچوست (۱۹۶۸-۱۹۷۹)، فیلبریک، نشنال سمی‌کنداکتر (۱۹۷۹ - ۱۹۸۲) و شرکت لینیر تکنولوژی (ال‌تی‌سی) (۱۹۸۲-۲۰۱۱) کار کرد.[۱] وی بیش از ۳۵۰ نشریه نوشت:[۲] مربوط به طراحی مدار آنالوگ، از جمله پنج کتاب، ۲۱ نکات کاربردی برای نشنال سمی‌کنداکتر، ۶۲ نکات کاربردی برای لینیر تکنولوژی و بیش از ۱۲۵ مقاله برای مجله ای‌دی‌ان.

ویلیامز در ۱۰ ژوئن دچار سكته مغزی شد و در ۱۲ ژوئن ۲۰۱۱ درگذشت.[۳]
