Formally Cape Coast Polytechnic be public tertiary institution insyd de Central Region of Ghana.[1][2]

E begin dey operate under Ghana Education Service insyd 1986. Na dem allow am make e offer intermediate courses wey e sanso dey award non-tertiary certificates.[3]

After de enactment of de PNDCL 321 insyd 1992, dem upgrade de Technical University to tertiary level wey dey allow make e run programmes dem associate plus de award of Higher National Diploma.[3]

De courses Cape Coast Technical University dey run be Arts, Business, applied sciences, den Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Procurement & Supply Chain Management Building Technology, Bachelor of Science in Statistics Accounting plus Computing, Civil Engineering, Secretaryship & Management Studies, Marketing den Telecommunication Engineering.[3]

Addition of Cyber Security Unit

Insyd October 2020, dem commission cyber security department den forensic lab. Na dis be part of de National Initiative for Cyber Security Engineering Science and Technology and Education Programme (NICESTEP). Ebe de brain child of Cyber Ghana for conjunction plus de Royal Academy of Engineering, United Kingdom den de Llyods Register Foundation, all for de UK insyd. Na dis be make e provide skills training, jobs creation den make e curb cyber crime insyd Ghana.[4]
