Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) be public varsity wey dey situate insyd Juja, 36 kilometres northeast of Nairobi, along de Nairobi-Thika SuperHighway, off Exit 15.[1][2] Edey offer courses insyd Technology, Engineering, Science, Commerce, Management den Building sciences. De varsity start for 1981 as Jomo Kenyatta College of Agriculture den Technology (JKCAT), sam middle-level college by de government of Kenya plus assistance from de Japanese government. Plans for de establishment of JKCAT start for 1977 insyd.[5] For early 1978 insyd, de Kenyan president, Jomo Kenyatta, donate 200 hectares of farmland for de establishment of de college. Dem admit de first group of students for 4 May 1981. De former president Daniel Arap Moi formally open JKUAT for 17 March 1982.[5]

Hosts Pan African University

De Chinese government agree say dem go support de development of infrastructure, classrooms, hostels den laboratories for JKUAT based Pan African University, Institute of Basic Sciences, Technology den Innovation (PAUIST), sam initiative by de African Union. Dem sign de agreement for 25 April 2012 between Kenya ein Ministry of Higher Education, Science den Technology, wey Bernard Malenga den JKUAT's vice-chancellor Mabel Imbuga dey represent, den sam eight-person Chinese delegation wey Yin Youhua dey lead.[21]
