University of Buea (UB) be found insyd Molyko, Buea, insyd de southwest region of Cameroon. Na dem found am as university centre insyd 1985 wey e cam turn full-fledged university insyd 1992, wey dey follow government decree wey dem re-organize state universities insyd de country.[1] Dem regard am as de best university insyd Cameroon wey ebe one of two English speaking universities insyd Cameroon, alongsyd de University of Bamenda,[2][3] wich dey follow de British system of education. E dey serve citizens from both anglophone den francophone regions of Cameroon den from neighboring countries such as Nigeria den Equatorial Guinea.

UB dey insyd fe historic town of Buea, former capital of German Kamerun, former capital of British Cameroon, former capital of de federated State of West Cameroon, den now de regional capital of de Southwest Region of Cameroon. Although de university dey draw ein students mainly from de English-speaking part of Cameroon, e sanso dey serve de oda regions of de country.

De student population be over 13,000, wey dey include 50 wey be physically den visually disabled. Der be 300 permanent den 200 part-time teaching staff. For addition to teaching, de staff dey undertake research insyd fields wey be relevant to national development. UB get about 473 support staff.[6]

Dem organize de University of Buea into several faculties, wey dey offer undergraduate den graduate programs insyd various fields of study. De university sanso get School of Postgraduate Studies, wich dey offer advanced degrees insyd various disciplines.[7]
