University of Education, Winneba (UEW) be varsity wey dey insyd Winneba for Ghana ein Central region.[1] Dem build am for 1992 as de government give dem order (PNDC Law 322)[2], wey na dem san get relationship plus de University of Cape Coast.[3] De University ein aim be sey ein go train teachers give Ghana ein Education system. De University of Education, Winneba ein job be sey, ein go take care of teacher education den produce professional educators wey go make the nation ein vision ein get for education com true den san make sure sey Ghana go place ein effort for the path for development economically den socially. Every bro dey expect sey de University of Education, Winneba go play leading role for Ghana ein motive den vision sey ein go produce scholars wey go use demma knowledge take care of Ghana ein realities den exigencies. De university san get different campuses outside central region.

De varsity get twenty-nine academic departments den centers, seven faculties. Esana get 18 distance education regional study centers throughout Ghana.
In addition to three campuses wey dey Winneba wer ein administrative office dey, de university get one extra campus in addition give ova 20 study centers:

De Ajumako Campus currently dey host de students of de Department of Akan-Nzema Education, Ewe Education, Ga–Dangme Education of De Faculty of Languages Education.
Gradually de Faculty of Languages Education go move from de Winneba Campus go de Ajumako Campus den ego eventually cam turn de College of Languages Education.

De Winneba Campus is the main campus of the university and is spread over three sites (North, Central and South) within the Effutu Municipality. As sam multi-campus, multi-site varsity plus campuses den learning centres for oda parts of de country, UEW get six Faculties, one institute den two centres of de varsity dey provide programmes for de areas of Science den Mathematics Education, Technology den Business Education, Agriculture Education, Home Economics Education, Cultural Studies, Creative Arts Education, Guidance den Counselling den Educational Administration den Leadership.
