James Okoye Chukuka Ezeilo (17 Janairu 1930 - 2013) shi ne farfesa na farko a fannin lissafi a Najeriya. Sau da yawa ana yi masa kallon uban lissafin zamani a kasar[1] kuma shi ne shugaban Jami'ar Najeriya, Nsukka na biyar. Ya kasance shugaban Jami'ar Bayero Kano daga 1977 zuwa 1978. Ya kasance tsohon dalibin Jami'ar Cambridge kuma ya rasu a shekara ta 2013.[2]

Ya fara yin amfani da mahawara nau'in digiri na Leray-Schauder don samun sakamako na wanzuwa don warware matsalolin yau da kullun na daidaitattun daidaito.[3]

Kasancewan shi daya daga cikin tsoffin shugabannin Jami’ar Bayero Kano, an sanya wa wani gidan wasan kwaikwayo mai suna J. O. C. Ezeilo Twin theatre wanda ke tsohon harabar Jami'ar Bayero daura da sashen nazarin ilimin halittar dan Adam.
