Jami'ar Kirista ta Uganda (UCU) jami'a ce mai zaman kanta da aka kafa a coci wanda Ikilisiyar Uganda ke gudanarwa. Ita ce jami'a mai zaman kanta ta farko a Uganda da Gwamnatin Uganda ta ba da takardar shaidar.[1]

Mataimakin Shugaban kasa

Mataimakin shugaban majalisa na farko, Stephen Noll, an shigar da shi a cikin 2000. Shi firist ne na Anglican na Amurka, masanin tauhidi, kuma mai wa'azi a ƙasashen waje. John Senyonyi, mai bishara kuma masanin lissafi, shine mataimakin shugaban UCU na biyu. Ya shiga UCU a matsayin malamin addini a shekara ta 2001. A ranar 1 ga Satumba 2020, Aaron Mushengyezi, masanin harshe kuma tsohon dean na sashen harsuna, adabi da sadarwa a Jami'ar Makerere, ya zama Mataimakin Shugaban Jami'ar Kirista ta Uganda na uku.

Duk da yake mafi yawan malamai da dalibai 'yan Uganda ne, UCU ta janyo hankalin dalibai daga wasu ƙasashen Great Lakes na Afirka da kuma ma'aikatan kasashen waje da yawa daga Arewacin Amurka, Turai, Australia, da New Zealand. A ranar 26 ga watan Fabrairun 2018, Majalisar Kasa ta Uganda don Ilimi Mafi Girma ta ba jami'ar wasika ta izini don sabbin darussan likita guda uku (a) Bachelor of Medicine da Bachelor of Surgery, (b) Bachelor of Dental Surgery da (c) Bachelor of Public Health. Za a ba da darussan uku a Makarantar Kiwon Lafiya ta Jami'ar Kirista ta Uganda, farawa a watan Agusta 2018.[11]
