Dokta Jamilur Reza Choudhury (15 ga watan Nuwamba shekara ta 1942 zuwa 28 ga watan Afrilu shekara ta alif dubu biyu da a shirin 2020) ya kasance injiniyan farar hula na kasar Bangladesh, farfesa ne, kuma mai bincike, kuma mai ba da shawara kan ilimi. [2][3] Ya kuma kasance shugaban kwamitin wasannin Olympics a kasar Bangladesh daga shekara ta alif dubu dubu biyu da ukku 2003. Gwamnatin kasar Bangladesh ta ba shi kyautar Ekushey Padak a cikin rukunin kimiyya da fasaha a shekarar ta alif dubu biyu da sha bakwai 2017. Gwamnatin kaaar Bangladesh ta gabatar da shi a matsayin Farfesa na kasa a shekarar a shekara ta alif dubu biyu da sha takwas 2018.

An haifi Choudhury a Sylhet (a lokacin mulkin mallaka a kasar Burtaniya) a ranar 15 ga watan Nuwamba shekara ta 1943. Mahaifinsa, Abid Reza Choudhury (1905-1991), injiniyan farar hula ne wanda ya yi hijira zuwa Dhaka a shekara ta 1952 (bayan Rarraba Indiya) daga Rangauty, wani yanki na karkara na Hailakandi (Assam, Indiya). Ya wuce jarrabawar shiga daga makarantar sakandaren Sylhet Government Pilot. Ya halarci Kwalejin Dhaka daga shekara ta 1957 zuwa 1959 kuma ya sami shidar digiri sa na farko a ban garan Kimiyya (Civil Engineering ) daga Jami'ar Injiniya da Fasaha ta kasar Bangladesh (BUET) a shekarar 1963. Bayan kammala karatunsa daga BUET (First Class First with Honours), ya zama malami a Sashen Injiniyanci a wannan shekarar. Ya sami digiri na biyu na Kimiyya a cikin Injiniya (ƙwarewar injiniya) a shekara ta 1965 da Ph.D. a cikin injiniyan tsari a shekara ta 1968, duka a Jami'ar Southampton.
