An kafa makarantar sakandare ta Methodist Boys, Oron (MBHS Oron) a ranar 18 ga Satumba 1905 biyo bayan shawarar da Rev. A cikin 1870, masu shelar bishara na Methodist guda biyu, William Robinson da James Hands, sun sauka kusa da Oron, suka fara yin bishara. Tare da taimakon Steam Launch daga Ma'aikatar Ruwa, an tura gidan Ofishin Jakadancin, (tsarin da aka riga aka gina) daga Archibong Town zuwa Oron inda aka tara shi a cikin 1902.

Bayan matsin lamba mai tsanani, gwamnatin Jihar Akwa Ibom ta karɓi kulawar makarantar a hukumance a ranar 18 ga Satumba 2022, a lokacin bikin tunawa da ranar kafa makarantar ta 117 da Homecoming.[9] Late Prelate na Ikilisiyar Methodist, Dr. Sunday Mbang ne ya ba da gudummawar, don haka ya buɗe sabon zamani a rayuwar ma'aikatar.
