Muadh ibn Jabal (Larabci: مُعاذ بن جبل; 603 – 639) sahabi ne (sahabin) annabin musulunci Muhammad.[1][2] Mu'az Ansar Banu Khazraj ne kuma ya hada Alqur'ani tare da sahabbai biyar alhalin Muhammad yana raye.[2] An san shi da wanda yake da ilimi mai yawa.[3] Muhammad ne ya kira shi "wanda zai jagoranci malamai zuwa Aljanna."[4][2]

Mu'adh ya karbi Musulunci kafin mubaya'a ta biyu a al-Aqabah na mika wuya ga Muhammadu. Duk da haka, yana daya daga cikin wadanda suka dauki alkawarin.[4]

Muhammad ya aika Mu'az a matsayin gwamnan Yaman domin karbar zakka. A lokacin da Muhammadu ya aika Mu'az zuwa Yaman domin ya koya wa al'ummarta addinin Musulunci, shi da kansa ya yi bankwana da shi, yana tafiya na dan nisa tare da shi yayin da yake shirin barin garin. An ce Muhammadu ya sanar da shi cewa idan ya koma Madina, watakila zai ga masallacinsa da kabarinsa ne kawai. Jin haka sai Mu'az ya fara kuka.

Lokacin da Mu'az ya koma Madina, halifa shi ne Abubakar. Daga karshe ya raka Usama bn Zaid a yakin Sham, inda ya rasu a can a shekara ta 18 bayan hijira, saboda Annobar Amwas.[4][5]

An sanya wa kwalejin nazarin shari’ar shari’a da ke Jami’ar Mosul da ke kasar Iraki sunansa.[6]

Al-Bayhaqi ya ruwaito a cikin Shu’ab al-Iman (1:392 #512-513), haka kuma al-Tabarani, cewa Mu’adh bn Jabal ya ruwaito cewa Muhammad ya ce: “Yan Aljanna ba za su yi nadama ba sai abu guda. Shi kadai: Sa’ar da ta shige su, ba su ambaton Allah a cikinta ba. Ali bn Abu Bakr al-Haythami a cikin Majma al-Zawa'id (10:74) ya ce maruwaitanta dukkansu amintattu ne (thiqat), yayin da Suyuti ya ayyana hasan a cikin Jami’ al-Saghir (#7701).

Ibn al-Jawzi ya ruwaito a cikin Siffatu Safwah cewa Mu'adh ya shawarci dansa: "Ya dana! Ka yi addu'a ga wanda zai fita, ka yi tunanin ba za ka sake yin salla ba. ayyuka masu kyau guda biyu, daya wanda ya aikata, daya kuma ya yi niyyar aikatawa daga baya”.
