Piastre ko piaster (Turanci: /piˈæstər/) kowane ɗayan ɗayan kuɗi ne. Kalmar ta samo asali ne daga Italiyanci don "farantin ƙarfe". An yi amfani da sunan ga Mutanen Espanya da Hispanic American guda takwas, ko pesos, ta hanyar 'yan kasuwa na Venetian a Levant a karni na 16.

Har ila yau ana amfani da kalmar a matsayin dalar Amurka a cikin tsibirin Caribbean na Faransanci, musamman Haiti .

Piastre wani suna ne na kuruş ,  Lira na Turkiyya .

Har yanzu ana amfani da piastre a Mauritius lokacin da ake yin siyar da siyar da gwanjo, kamar yadda ake amfani da ginea a gwanjon dokin tsere na Burtaniya. Ya yi daidai da 2 Mauritius rupee.[2]
