Prince Amartey (an haife shi a ranar 25 ga Yunin shekarata 1944) ɗan dambe ne daga ƙasar Ghana, wanda ya lashe lambar tagulla a cikin matsakaicin matsakaicin nauyi (-75 kg) a Gasar Olympics ta bazara ta shekarar 1972 a Munich.[1] Ya raba dandalin tare da Marvin Johnson na Amurka.[2] A baya, ya yi gasa a cikin matsakaicin matsakaicin nauyi a gasar wasannin bazara ta 1968.[3]

A Wasannin Commonwealth na Biritaniya na shekarar 1970, ya kuma yi rashin nasara a wasansa na farko ga Patrick Doherty na Arewacin Ireland.

Amartey ya kuma halarci Wasannin Sojojin Duniya a Rotterdam a shekarar 1971.

Tun daga shekarar 2015, an ba da rahoton cewa yana aiki mai shara a wani wurin kiwon lafiya mai zaman kansa a Ho kuma yana yawan yawo akan tituna a matsayin mai jin yunwa da talauci. Matsalolin nasa sun fara ne a 1974 lokacin da aka kori Amartey daga rundunar sojojin Ghana sakamakon matsalolin tabin hankali lokacin da yake rike da mukamin kofur. Daga nan Amartey ya ɗauki ƙananan ayyuka don tsira.[4][5][6]

A cikin Maris din shekarar 2021, ya karɓi wasu abubuwa da adadin da ba a bayyana ba daga kulob ɗin zamantakewa na Ho da ake kira Club 50. Abubuwan sun kuma haɗa da kayan wanka da abubuwan tsafta.[7][8]

A cikin shekarar 2021, GAF ya kafa kasuwanci don Prince don kula da bukatun sa. Sojojin Ghana sun bude kantin sayar da kayayyaki a barikin Ho. An kuma ba da izinin shagon a ranar 5 ga Agusta 2021 kuma an mika shi ga danginsa.[9]
