Iyive, wanda kuma ake kira Uive, Yiive, Ndir, Asumbos, harshe ne na Bantoid mai hatsarin gaske wanda ake kuma magana a Najeriya da kuma Kamaru . [2] Ƙabilar da kuma aka ayyana ta hanyar amfani da wannan harshe ita ce ake kira Ndir. [3] [4]

Iyive yaren Tivoid ne na ƴan ƙasar Kamaru kusa da Tiv dace . [5] [6] Ana kuma magana ne a yankin Kudu maso Yamma a yankin Manyu, arewa maso gabashin garin Akwaya da ke kan iyakar Najeriya, ƙauyen Yive. Duk da cewa suna zaune ne a kasar Kamaru, galibin al'ummar Iyive masu amfani da yare sun tilastawa komawa ƙasar Najeriya saboda rikici. [7]

Iyive yana shiga cikin haɗari sosai kuma an sanya shi a matsayin daga cikin ƙwaƙƙwara saboda yaren da tsofaffin mutanen Ndir ne kawai ke magana da shi ba a ba da shi ga matasa ba. [8] [2] Iyive baya samun tallafi daga wata hukuma ko kuma wata cibiyoyi na gwamnati. [9]
