Aksara Isthmian adalah sistem penulisan Mesoamerika paling awal yang dipakai di wilayah Tanah Genting Tehuantepec dari mungkin 500 SM sampai 500 M, meskipun tidak ada kesepakatan pada penanggalannya. Aksara ini juga disebut aksara La Mojarra dan aksara Epi-Olmec.
