Deinacrida heteracantha, juga dikenal sebagai Little Barrier giant wētā atau wētāpunga (Maori: wētāpunga),^[2] adalah sebuah spesies wētā dalam ordo Orthoptera dan keluarga Anostostomatidae. Spesies tersebut adalah endemik di Selandia Baru, dimana spesies tersebut hanya hidup di Pulau Penghalang Kecil
