Il film, diretto da Lesley Selander su una sceneggiatura di Ed Earl Repp, fu prodotto da Herman Schlom^[1] per la RKO Radio Pictures^[2] e girato a Agoura, California,^[3] dal 14 giugno a fine giugno 1950. Il titolo di lavorazione fu Texas Triggerman.^[4]

Distribuzione

Il film fu distribuito negli Stati Uniti dal 24 febbraio 1951^[5] al cinema dalla RKO Radio Pictures. È stato distribuito anche in Brasile con il titolo A Lei dos Maus.^[5]
