Penny Flame, pseudonimo di Jennifer Ketcham, detta Jennie (Aurora, 22 febbraio 1983), è un'ex attrice pornografica e regista statunitense.
Lo pseudonimo deriva dalla canzone dei The Beatles Penny Lane e dalla sua abitudine a fumare.[2]
Biografia e carriera pornografica
[modifica | modifica wikitesto]Nata ad Aurora (Colorado) come Jennifer "Jennie" Ketcham (suo vero nome), la Flame è cresciuta nella San Francisco Bay Area e ha debuttato nell'industria del cinema per adulti nel 2003, dopo aver risposto ad un annuncio su un quotidiano[3]. Si è diplomata alla Campolindo High School di Moraga, in California. Per qualche anno ha lavorato in scene che la ritraevano da sola o con altre donne e ha girato le sue prime pellicole hardcore nel 2005. Ha inoltre partecipato a diverse pellicole con tema BDSM, sia in ruoli di slave che di mistress.
La gran parte delle scene interpretate dalla Flame è del genere gonzo o reality porn, spesso per siti come Naughty America e per case di produzione come Shane's World. Frequentemente sulla scena utilizza un linguaggio "sporco". Ha comunque interpretato anche produzioni importanti, la prima delle quali è stata il film di James Avalon Darkside nel 2005, assieme a Hillary Scott per la quale ha ottenuto 2 AVN e XRCO Award[4][5].
Per gli Shane's World Studios, la Flame ha diretto nel 2005 Shane's World: Girls Night Out 3 e nel 2006 Shane's World: Girls Night Out 2, Blazed and Confused e Blazed and Confused 2. Nel 2008 ha vinto l'AVN come miglior attrice mentre nel 2010 come miglior attrice non protagonista[6][7].
Nel tempo libero dipinge, e sul suo sito in Myspace e nei suoi film si è espressa a favore della legalizzazione della marijuana.
Secondo il sito IAFD, la sua carriera di attrice s'è svolta negli anni dal 2002 al 2013 [1]. Come regista ha diretto nove film tra il 2005 e il 2012[1].
