アンナ・ベン（Anna Ben）は、インドのマラヤーラム語映画で活動する女優。2019年に『Kumbalangi Nights』で女優デビューし[1][2]、『Helen』『Kappela』でケーララ州映画賞 主演女優賞を受賞した[3]。
生い立ち
[編集]ケララ州コーチ出身[4]。父のベニー・P・ナーヤラームバーラムはマラヤーラム語映画で脚本家として活動している[1]。ヴァダザラのチンマヤ・ヴィディヤラヤスで教育を受けた後、コーチのセント・テレサ・カレッジに進学してファッション/アパレル・デザインを専攻している[5]。
キャリア
[編集]2019年に『Kumbalangi Nights』で女優デビューし、批評的・興行的な成功を収めた。同作には4回のオーディションを経て起用され[6]、アンナ・ベイは同作で演じたベイビー・モール役について「現代らしさと伝統的な価値観の両方を持ち、独自の視点を持つキャラクター」と語っている[7]。また、『ザ・ヒンドゥー』は彼女の演技について「ベテラン俳優たちを前にしても、彼女の演技は際立っていた」と評価している[8]。その後は『Helen』に出演して演技を絶賛され[9][10][11]、2020年に出演した『Kappela』では観客と批評家から高い評価を得た[2]。
